The 1000 series Mold Release Waxes are formulated with the help of today’s modern chemistry. They work in extreme conditions of accelerated-exothermic, high-temperature conditions (HIGH) and low-to-ambient-temperature conditions (LOW).
HI-TEMP and HI-LOW 1000 Waxes contain a blend of synthetic waxes that reduce the quality fluctuations that are found in natural organic waxes such as carnauba. Synthetic waxes that FK uses in its mold release waxes have the high melting points and the proper hardness to get the desired film properties on the mold surfaces. The resulting film has a high gloss and intensive wear-resistance under the high or low temperature molding conditions thus assuring an easy release.

- In the event “pre-release” occurs on corners, wells and radiuses due to excessive exothermic heat generated by mass chopping over these areas due to repeated passes, apply #1006 as the last coat or last two coats over the application of #1000P prior to gel coat and lay up.
